I think it's more than that. Crush implies, to me, that they don't know about it.

Bought a bike, played paintball, went on a night canoe trip/owl seeing trip, and dinner with family.

One that gets there and stays just long enough to be too long. That's when I change the style of music I'm listening to to something new/different/unlistened to before.
